ENEMA FLEX PHOSPHATES is a bowel laxative. It works by drawing water into the walls of the intestine, softening the stools, and facilitating bowel movements.

ACTION

The phosphates in FLEX ENEMA PHOSPHATES work osmotically by retaining water in the colon, which increases the water content of the stool and facilitates bowel movements

CHARACTERISTICS/USP

• Fast-acting: bowel movement typically achieved within 2-5 minutes
• With a non-return valve to prevent aspiration
• With a flexible nozzle and lubrication for easier and more comfortable use

DOSAGE & USAGE

Adults: One bottle (122 mL dose) no more than once daily or as directed by a physician. Use in children and adolescents under 18 years: Not recommended. ENEMA FLEX PHOSPHATES should not be used for more than one week.

Wash your hands before use or wear disposable gloves. Lie on your side with your knees in a fetal position. Remove the protective cap and gently insert the nozzle into the rectum. Stop if you feel resistance. Squeeze the bottle until almost all of the solution is used. It is not necessary for the entire bottle to be emptied. Gently remove the nozzle from the rectum. Remain in the same position until the urge to defecate becomes strong.
