ACTION

Glycerin acts primarily osmotically, binding water in the large intestine, which increases the water content in the stool and

facilitates bowel movements. Additionally, it has a mild peristaltic effect.

CHARACTERISTICS/USP

Fast-acting: Bowel movement is typically achieved within 5 minutes (although it may take up to 30 minutes).
Suitable from the 4th month of pregnancy (with medical advice) and during lactation.
Does not interact with other medications.
Can be used as a supplement to treatments for chronic constipation.
Contains plant-based glycerin.

DOSAGE & USAGE

1 adult suppository
Using a higher dosage may cause irritation of the intestines, abdominal pain, and diarrhea
Store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before use
Moisten the suppository with a little water before use and allow at least 10 minutes to pass without a bowel movement for full effect.
